What Is Mastering?

Audio mastering is the final process in preparing your song(s) for radio release and/or retail sell. Mastering your music will ensure that your songs sound consistent on a wide variety of listening formats, and that your tunes sound as loud and professional as other industry-standard music releases.

At LDB10.COM, our mastering engineers will utilize core mastering techniques to help ensure that all of your songs have a consistent volume from one tune to the next, and that minor frequency imbalances are corrected. In addition, we utilize that latest audio mastering software to clean up in mud, irritation or noise that might have found its way onto your recording(s). All we need is a two-track stereo mixdown of your tune(s).

In the final stages of CD mastering, we index your tunes (track titles, artist name, album name, etc.) and add the proper track spacing between songs. If you have ISRC codes, we will also embed them on each tune.
